Raised in the small town of Bradley Beach, New Jersey, Philip Hanapole spent his early years enjoying the benefits of the charming seaside community. The closeness of the small town and his relationship with his childhood dentist inspired him to choose this profession. Knowing at such a young age that he wanted to be a dentist helped him carve a path for his future. He attended Asbury Park High School, Rutgers University and New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry where he received his DMD.

After graduating from dental school he worked for 2 other dentists, and taught at NJ College of Medicine and Dentistry in the oral diagnosis department before opening his own practice in Belmar, New Jersey. This small office on Main Street soon became inadequate for his growing practice. Thrilled to be able to fulfill his dream of bringing great quality dentistry to his own small town community, he began to look for larger quarters. He purchased the run down Belmar train station, turned it into his new office and brought it back to its original glory. After 10 years of practicing at this location, Dr. Hanapole’s vision of a newer, cutting edge facility was realized by hiring the country’s top dental office designers to create his current space at 611 West Main Street in Belmar. Throughout the years of working in his practice Dr. Hanapole and his staff have taken numerous courses to stay current in their field. After studying with some of the country’s top restorative and cosmetic dentists and at the Misch Institute of Implantology and seeing the effects this kind of work had on their patients, Dr. Hanapole decided to create a specialty practice focusing on improving patient smiles, within the family practice that he already had. While keeping his patients teeth in top condition, and now offering procedures to whiten and improve the look of the overall smile, Dr. Hanapole offers it all. Patients now walk into an office that conveys comfort and serenity, are cared for by a staff that is educated in the most cutting edge techniques and can be assured that they will walk out with the healthiest most attractive smile possible.
