Welcome!
Whistle Jacket Training, owned and operated by Kim Holley, offers training and instruction
for all horses and riders based in the classical discipline of Dressage.
My mission
with WJT is to empower people with knowledge about themselves and the horse, so that they may have success in doing something
they love. Riding horses is unlike any other activity you could do, so it takes a special knowledge and skill to do it right,
and to do it well. It is not for the faint of heart, but for those with a little courage and a strong desire to learn, it
can be a very rewarding experience. For some it is therapy, for some it is exercise, for some it is a challenge and for some
it is just plain fun. What I love about it is that anyone can do it and any horse can do it.
Please
explore and enjoy this website and sign my guest book before you leave; all your comments are appreciated!
"The goal of all riders should be harmony. This does not mean you need to be a Grand Prix rider or even a competitive
rider. When the riding looks easy, it is done well. When it looks difficult, then there is strengthening and correct riding
to be done."
Arthur Kottas-Heldenberg
"A bit is only as harsh as the hands that control it"
Doug Carpenter

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
