NOVEMBER 7: THE TEDDY BEAR RUN ROARS INTO RICHMOND, ENROUTE TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL ON BROOK RD!
It's quite a spectacle, so come on out and enjoy the parade of mostly Harley Davidson Motorcyles as they go by with their Teddy Bears affixed to the bikes.

The Teddy Bear run will begin at Colonial Harley Davidson near Petersburg at 1 pm.  The motorcycles will travel north on Route 95, exit on Chamberlayne Avenue; turn north on Brook Road and end at the Richmond Children’s Hospital at 2924 Brook Road.  Arrival time at the Chamberlayne Avenue exit should be between 1:45 and 2 pm.  Approximately 1,500 to 2,000 motorcyclists are expected depending on the weather.

Third Thursdays tickets are $10 (members, $8). Tickets are available on-line at tickets.vmfa.museum, by telephoning (804) 340-1405, or in person at the museum. Third Thursdays tickets are not refundable or exchangeable.

Lakeside Farmer's Market!  Located between Lakeside Towne Center and CVS.  Open Wed. 8am to noon & 3pm to 7pm; & Saturday, 8am to noon.

The Market Umbrella, European style farmers markets, with 2 locations:

Bryan Park's location opens May 2, open for business Tuesdays til 7pm!

Great Big Greenhouse: HUGUENOT-ROBIOUS FARMERS' MARKET GRAND OPENING!

Thursday, JUNE 4, is the GRAND OPENING of the HUGUENOT-ROBIOUS FARMERS' MARKET.

This "Virginia Grown" registered farmers' market will be open on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in our parking lot. The participating vendors will be selling freshly grown vegetables and fruits, providing various meat products, baked goods, wool fibers, natural soaps and lotions, and more.

We are very excited about the opportunity to provide a conveniently located farmers' market for this area. Farmers' markets are one of the oldest forms of direct marketing by small farmers. We hope to see you there.

Most all markets end in November.
