Hello. My name is Twyla Byrd. I spent the past 15 years working for Corporate America as a technical writer. To learn more about my background specifics, please click the Resume' button. I am currently working on private contracts, specifically, assisting people or businesses requiring help on a smaller scale.
I create web pages for small or family owned businesses for a very reasonable fee. I can work with your graphics and photos, or I can create custom graphics for you. This works well when you want to give your web site a personal look. Your site can be as small, or as large as you like. However, my specialty is working with the basics, I don't do shopping carts or online ordering sites.
To see an example of a web site I created for a small business in Arkansas, check out my Spoiled Little Shihtzus project. Carol Hanna, the business owner, is ecstatic over the dramatic increase in sales generated by her web site. People often visit her site just to see the new photos -- which I edit and captionize.
I also do documentation projects. I am set up to easily work from my home, with a Verizon FIOS intenet connection. I can also travel, as needed.
If you are a small business, and you often need to hire new employees, I can come in to document your processes, then create training manuals, or training job aids for your new hires. This saves you valuable training time. If you generate software, I can work with your subject matter expert and generate your on-line help files.
If you are interested in documenting your family history for heirs and family members, I can interview selected family members and create a "family novel" for you. I can then add your family photos in whatever format you choose, creating your "forever legacy" for family and friends.
