Hello! Thanks for stopping by.
Let me introduce myself: I am a published writer in fiction
and non-fiction writing:
Mystery, Romance, Suspense and Horror (Anthologies, short stories, magazines,
non-fiction writing articles and poems.)
I teach a non-credited Creative Writing course on How
to Write a Short Story, How to Write Your Life Story, and How to Write Children Stories for the Encore Academy
at our local Pasco Hernando Community College.
After my first sale to Cat's Magazine, I've sold several short
stories and appear in thirteen Chicken Soup for the Soul books, The Wrong Side of the Law anthology,
a mini mystery in Woman's World, two Cup of Comfort anthologies, and many True Romance
Magazine stories.
Why don't you pull up a comfy chair and grab a simmering cup of herbal
tea or coffee, relax and open a book. As a writer, I want to promote reading and writing, especially
to our children who are our future.
My latest story "Instant Willpower" is now
out in the new "Chicken Soup For The Soul: Shaping The New You" book which came out on December 28, 2010. It
is also available in e-book format from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. My first e-book story.
My short mystery "The Purrfect Lesson," is now published
by Nightfall Publications in the anthology "The Wrong Side of the Law" and is available for
sale on their website.
"Blue Christmas Murder," a 200 word flash-fiction story was
published by Pine Hill Press for a Daily Flash: 365 days of Flash Fiction 2011 calendar and came out Dec., 2010. Another
flash calendar called Daily Bites of Flesh vampire calendar for 2011, was published around the same time.
I've been busy penning some Woman's World mysteries, Chicken
Soup stories, contest entries and working on my novel. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I sell,
sell, sell. I'm also available for lectures on "How To Write a Short Story or a Memoir."
