Shots Fired! Shots Forgiven! Ministries
INTRODUCTION
My name
is Stephen Watt. I was born and raised in northeastern Wyoming. I grew up wanting to be a Wyoming State Trooper.
In 1979 I achieved that goal. My dream turned into a nightmare in 1982 when I was shot five times by a bank robber.
I ended up losing my job due to post tramatic stress disorder. Even though I was no longer a street cop, I still wanted
to be in law enforcement so I became a police chaplain in California and started a ministry of sharing my story of being shot.
After seving as a chaplain for seven years I returned to Rock Springs Wyoming in 1992 to become a deputy sheriff, where I
taught the drug education program in the local schools. I have also served two terms in the Wyoming Legislature and
have ran for the governors office. Recently I lost my job as a deputy again to post tramatic stress disorder.
I am also one of the most decorated law enforcement officers in Wyoming as a result of my actions on March 18, 1982.
Through a series of events I have come to believe that God wants me to start my ministry up and serve Him full time.
So here I am serving God full time. I hope that you find this website a blessing and that in some way I can minister
to you.
GOD bless,
Stephen
