We believe:

God is the beginning of everything!

Reference: Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”  Psalm 90:2 "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."

In the Trinity - Father, Son & Holy Ghost.

Reference: St. Matthew 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

All have sinned!

Reference: Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Jesus Christ is the son of God.

Reference:  Romans 1: 3-4 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh: (4) And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”

God sent his Son into the world to save the world from sin.

Reference: St. John 3:16 -17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

We are saved by the goodness and grace of God.

Reference: Ephesians 2: 4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”.

That Jesus Christ was crucified and on the third day following his crucifixion, he rose from the dead and through him our sins are forgiven.

Reference: Acts 10: 38 – 40 & 43 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.  (39) And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: (40) Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; (43) To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name that whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”

That Christ is the head of the church - not man!

Reference: Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the

preeminence.”

The word of God is infallible and through his word we are sanctified.

Reference: St. John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

In baptism by immersion with Christ as our example.

Reference: St. Matthew 4:16 “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:”

You must be born again to see the kingdom of God.

Reference: St. John 3:3 & 7 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”

If we do not repent we shall all perish.

Reference: St. Luke 13: 3 “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”  Acts 17: 30 “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.”

That God is not a respecter of persons and will pour out his spirit on who so ever is willing to follow his leadership.

Reference: Acts 2: 17 & 18 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days o f my Spirit: and they shall prophesy.”

Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

God is the God of all possibilities!

Reference: Luke: 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

God is a God of love but he is also a God of judgment.

Reference: 2 Peter 3: 9 – 10 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  (10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

God’s house should be a house of worship, prayer and thanksgiving.  He will not tolerate the oppression or deception of his people.

Reference: St. Matthew 21:13 “And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.”

In the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Reference: 1 Corinthians 12: 1, 4-5 & 7-11 “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. (4) Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  (5) And there are differences of administration, but the same Lord. (7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  (8) For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; (9) To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (10) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:  (11) But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”

Christ’s return can happen at any time.

Reference: St. Matthew 24:36 -39 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  (37) But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  (38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

In the resurrection of the saints of God.

Reference: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

There shall be no end to Christ’s kingdom.

Reference: St. Luke 1:33 “He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Nothing can separate the Christian from the love of God!

Reference “Romans 8: 38 – 39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

satan and his false prophets shall be rendered powerless.

Reference: Revelations 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Christ is the first and the last, the Almighty one.

Reference: Revelations 1: 8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
