Popular, in the 1920’s, Mah Jongg is again sweeping the nation and crossing geographic, generation, technology, gender,
and cultural lines. Why the renewed interest? Many theories exist. Some like the fact that it keeps the “mental gears”
going. Others love the appeal to the senses -- hearing the clicking of tiles and feeling the smooth of Braille-like surfaces.
Many love the lasting friendships that develop before and after the game.
Whatever your motivation, join friends of the ISO in a Mah Jongg class! Guild member, Betty Toland is donating her services
to teach us in a series of 4 classes to be held in April. Cost of the class is $50.00 which includes $10.00 for materials
and $40.00 as a tax deductible contribution to the ISO.
