Hilltop Elementary PTA Projects - 2009/10 School Year

There are many special projects that the PTA Board and the school faculty are keeping their eyes on. If you have any feedback or comments you would like to share, please contact the PTA.

All of the funds that the PTA raises are targeted for the many programs both in and out of the classroom for our students and faculty. The following is a list of some of the classroom/school resources funded this past school year:

• Academic excellence
• DARE
• Picnic tables
• Blinds for the cafeteria
• Mats for special education motor lab
• Bulletin boards
• Summer PTA leadership seminar
• Teacher appreciation
• Outside science lab equipment
• Harlem ambassadors
• Designated funds for digital marquee
• Shade structure for playground/outdoor learning

The faculty submits funding requests to a committee for review consisting of parents, faculty & administrative representatives. Thank you for supporting the Hilltop Elementary PTA!
