Hilltop Elementary School is preparing for another exciting Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week, which is a nationally celebrated drug awareness campaign, was first organized in 1988.  Since that time the campaign has touched the lives of millions of children in an effort to educate them on the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

     The kids will be celebrating the week with fun themes that are planned for each day.  The week with culminate with a visit from none other than nationally acclaimed speaker, Retro Bill, on Friday, October 24.  To say that Retro Bill brings energy and excitement to his informative presentations would be an understatement as large as his hair.  He will be speaking to K-2 from 8:15-9:15 and then to 3^rd and 4^th grade from 9:45-10:45 in the cafeteria.  Parents are invited to attend.  For more information about Retro Bill, you can visit his website at http://www.retrobill.com.
