- Points will be assigned for each tournament based on the number of teams participating. (ex. In an 8 team tournament,
winner gets 8, 2nd place gets 7, etc).
- Tournaments with 10 or more teams will be considered major, and will get double points. (ex. In a 12 team tournament,
winner gets 24 points, 2nd place gets 22, etc.)
- Tournament places will be determined by how far a team advances in the single elimination round, with ties broken (where
possible) by overall team record. If records are the same, they will split the points between the two positions. (ex.
In an 8 team tournament, 3rd and 4th place teams will get 5.5 points if they have the same record.)
- League records will be considered double points if there are a minimum of 8 teams. Standings are based on final playoff
results, with overall record breaking ties below the championship game.
- Competitive-level tournaments (any tournament listed as competitive-level in 2007 and beyond) will be awarded 1/2 the
points of a Pro-level tournament. A tournament will be considered Competitive if Pro-level teams are excluded from participating,
or if the Pro and Competitive are restricted from playing each other.
Updated rankings, as of 6/2/09.
Before anyone starts complaining, there are leagues and tournaments that I cannot find results
for. The spreadsheet shows every tournament/league that I can find results for, and includes the 8-man ineligible teams
as well. Read above for how 8-man teams are counted. There were no tournaments listed last year as B-level, so
they are all receiving full points. Spring leagues from last year will be included in these rankings, if I get the results.

This ranking is slightly skewed toward the Mid-Atlantic, since it's easier
to find their final standings for the Spring and Fall seasons. With league standings from Fall and Spring 08 and Spring09,
as well as any other tournaments that I can't find, you should see the Silverbacks and Outkast move up, as well as the teams
from the South.
Why do the MD and VA teams have more points? With a mixed tournament,
there are more teams to factor into the overall points. Fourteen team tournaments are worth more than 8 team tournaments,
especially since they get double points for having more than 10, and a better chance to have more competition.
