Crashboat Beach Summer Festival05/21/2010 – 05/23/2010

For the past ten years at the end of May, thousands of people have flocked to Aguadilla’s famous Crash Boat Beach for its highly anticipated summer festival.  The daylong event is jam-packed with musical performances by the island’s top salsa, meringue, reggae, and Spanish-rock bands.  Beachgoers will have their pick of volleyball, swimming, kayaking, sailing and dance competitions.  Food kiosks and eye-catching swimsuits make the Crash Boat Summer Festival a great way to welcome summer.Aguadilla (787) 891-1005

Coffee Harvest Festival in Maricao - 02/12/2010 to 02/14/2010

This annual festival marks the end of the coffee harvest in the western mountain town of Maricao, the center of the   island’s coffee growing region. Locals celebrate the close of the season with a parade, handicraft exhibitions, live folk music, and eating of traditional food. The festival is renowned for its exhibitions of past and present coffee cultivating techniques, harvesting tools and equipment, and desserts and beverages made from coffee.

Whale-Watching in Rincon- 01/01/2010 - 02/28/2010
Humpback whales may be seen in the winter from the observation park at the Rincón      Lighthouse. The peak season is February, though whales have been spotted from late December through late March. Fiesta de Reyes Isabelinos01/05/2010 – 01/06/2010
Every January 5-6 (Three Kings Eve and Day) Isabela celebrates the holiday with a two-day festivity that includes dramatizations of the arrival of the three Magi and their pilgrimage to find the baby Jesus, adore him and present their gifts. The glorious outcome is celebrated with a fiesta at the town square (Plaza Manuel María Corchado y Juarbe) that includes a Velorio de Reyes, a traditional song festival in honor of the Magi; handcrafts fair, Trovadores contest with prizes, puppet shows for children, Christmas music and carolers, typical food and drinks.
