Pine Flat Observatory is located in the foothills south-east of Porterville, CA.,  just above the town of CA Hot Springs.  Coordinates are 118.64 west by 35.87 north, the elevation is about 4000ft.  The property is available for rent, if interested, contact me at tbird0322@yahoo.com.
There is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath mobile home with phone, electricity, and DirecTV.  The property is 1.85 acres.
The sky is dark, the Milky Way is easily seen.  This is a 20 minute exposure with a Canon digital camera and 50mm lens.
