Historical Re-enactment of the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society March
These brave women marched black & white, arm in arm through an angry mob on Oct 21,1835 after Mayor Lynman told them
that they had to adjourn. Determined to continue their meeting they walked together to the home of Maria Weston Chapman on
West Street.
