A Sincere Thanks - 11/18/07We opened on Friday and I cannot begin to tell you how our expectations were surpassed. Thank you Molly for stopping
in and buying an outfit for your daughter - that was great! And thanks Tess for recommending the shop to her!
Please everyone check out
Spa Hollywood - Tess' place - for the utmost in latest hair styles and trends as well as all of your spa services.
They are truly great. In fact, I should take a moment and thank Tess for more than that. She was a big motivating
factor for me in going forward with the store. Always willing to help even though she is Entrepeneur Extraoridnaire
and MOSTLY mother of 6 month old baby Cole - he is truly beautiful. (she was also my boss a couple of summers during
college!) Maggie, thanks for coming in and shopping as well! Maggie is selling her one-of-a-kind, hand painted
frames and wall tiles in the shop. Check her stuff out at Bloomin' Bellies or at MaggieOriginals.com. She was
my 2nd customer! Not bad for first day open, not bad at all!
Saturday's open house was teriffic also. Thanks to Kierstan, Natalia, Lily(it was so great to see you after all
of these years!) and Amy for shopping - what a super end to the first week you created! And thanks Amy for
taking Rona's pre-natal class - that was cool.
Hopefully you all will check out our instructors. Call the shop for class times/details or check the calendar on
the website.
Well, I guess its a go from here. Just wanted to thank you thank you thank you sincerely, for giving us a
spring in our step after all of our hard work - we truly appreciate you!
I look forward to seeing each of you soon.
I just want to comment on my past blogs. In reading over them tonite I realize just how egocentric I have been
- this has truly been a labor of love and a vision for a long time - so I guess I got caught up a bit. The person I
really need to thank the most is my husband. He is truly a super dad in every way, shape and form. We have both
been working full time on our careers while working on the boutique and my late nights here have certainly been quite a task.
But it is he who has made sure that our children have been bathed, fed, read-to and played-with while I was there organizing
and getting things ready. Not only did he build and work on the store AND write mortgages - he put our kids first
when Mommy was the only one who could put the final details on things. He is my best friend and a REALLY REALLY GREAT
DAD. I'm lucky.

WE ARE OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I cannot tell you what staying up 'til 1 a.m. each and every night has been like. Yah, yah you say, so what's the
big deal? Well, then it's back up again at 4-5 a.m. for the morning feeding for Bonnie and again up at 7 to get Nate
ready for school. By the time you get home, wind down, you feel like you've been asleep for 30 minutes. . .Do you feel
sorry for me?
All joking aside, the store is AWESOME! I really feel a sense of accomplishment and I hope that it shows when you
come to visit. Today was opening day and thank you, thank you, thank you those that shopped!
Once again I have to give special thanks to all friends and family that helped. You cannot begin to understand
our gratitude. My husband and I are floored!
Deanine came by this week in the midst of her busy schedule to help me out as well - Thanks so much! Deanine is
teaching the much awaited baby massage class - I can't wait! Lynda put her time in again until the wee hours of the
night - what a blessing! She deserves her much needed cruise this week - but she will be back the week after to service
your baby book needs!
After many, many, many, many nights of dreading watching ANOTHER one of our kid movies before bed, I am actually
celebrating the fact that I am at home, with my kids at a decent hour tonite - just in time for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- I can't wait!
Hope to see you in the store soon,
Jen

ONE WEEK TO GOGosh, I am thoroughly bushed! Colby, my teriffic husband, Nathan, my super cool 4 year old son, and Bonnie - poor
neglected baby Bonnie - my 5 month old beauty have been working day and night to have things ready for Nov. 16th - things
are looking great.
I have to give special thanks to the following family and friends for working their butts off too:
My Dad, Igor - the kindest most giving soul on Earth! (and willing ALWAYS to be slave labor)
Mr. Reid - like a grandfather to me! (and very teriffic at understanding my vision and carrying it out)
Mike Fagan - my good friend, very very handy and creative genius behind much of the look of the shop!
Lynda Fischer - my good friend, Nanny to the Stars, the scrapbooking consultant on board with us, and always good
at keeping up morale!
Chanda Wall - my sister in life, mother of 2, a Doctor and still makes time to steam clothing 'til 1 a.m.!
Ashley Mashke - my sister in life, mother of 2, Hair Stylist Extraordinaire, and still she and the girls come to help!
(and they come bearing snacks)
Becky - mother to Lexi, 5 months, manager of Yuppy Puppy and makes it out on Friday night to get the job done!
Matt Carroll - my lifelong friend and late night floor stainer!
Mike Westmark (and my friend Dana, his wife, who probably talked him into taking my small job) - took my vision for the
dressing room and gladly did the job but didn't need to!
Dennis - the electrician - who's patience with us is so much appreciated!
I can't believe what work goes into stocking 368 tiny square feet of boutique, but how rewarding it is at the same time.
Late this afternoon as I stood outside the shop looking in I could not believe the transformation that took place last night
and today. We could not have done it ourselves and are truly thankful to have such wonderful people in our lives.
It's pretty appropriate that we are opening around Thanksgiving time - we have alot to be thankful for!
Bloom beautiful,
Jen

Good NewsSomebody loves me, I think! Store fixtures are set to be delivered on Monday, Nov. 5th which is fabulous!
I'm thrilled to be able to get things moving toward our anticipated opening date of Nov. 16th.
Sat. Nov. 17th - ALL DAY OPEN HOUSE
On Saturday the 17th of November beginning at 10 a.m. we will have an open house for you to stop by and
meet our instructors and sit in on a free class. Deanine and Baby Massage at 10 a.m. Cheryl and Yoga at 11 a.m.
Lynda and Scrapbooking from 11-4 and Rona and Yoga at 4 p.m. Please call ahead and reserve your space 316-1500.
Come, try and sign up for a class or series if you like. It's exciting to have these ladies on board and I would love
to see you take a class!
If you are driving down Osprey Avenue in the next couple of weeks swing by the storefront (just south of
Siesta Drive - 3604 S. Osprey Avenue) and check out our window display for a sneak peek at what we will be carrying.
Mannequins transform late every Friday night so keep up with them - they are super cute!
In the meantime, don't hesitate to call us or e-mail. Nathan (my 4-year old) keeps asking about the
store opening - poor kid doesn't realize that we have just created more work for ourselves. . .
Bonnie (now 5 months) is still blissfully ignorant - oh how I wish this would last and last and last. .
.
