Expansion board for the Microchip Explorer 16 board.  Compatible with the PICTail Plus(tm) expansion slots of the Explorer 16. 
 
Allows you to use your Explorer 16 board to perform most of the projects from "Programming 32-bit Microcontrollers in C - Exploring the PIC32" and "Programming 16-bit Microcontrollers - Learning to Fly the PIC24" by Di Jasio.  In addition, the board provides a generous prototyping area and access to all pins on the expansion slot.  Compatible with PIC24, dsPIC33 and PIC32 PIM modules mounted on a Microchip Explorer 16 board.
 
Available as unpopulated and fully assembled options.

Features:

- Additional auxiliary 3.3V supply (to supplement the Explorer 16 3.3V power)

- Additional adjustable supply, primarily for the color LCD display back light (set for 6.0 to 7.0V)

- Connector for Nokia color LCD (cell phone display with 132x132 pixels) on rear

- SPI EEPROM or Flash memory

- I2C EEPROM

- Stereo earphone jack with 2 low pass filters for audio

- Video output (NTSC or PAL video) through RCA jack

- Transflash / microSD card socket

- 1 16 pin SOIC pad (with interfaces to 2 0.1 spacing holes each pad)

- 1 18 pin SSOP pad (with interfaces to 2 0.1 spacing holes each pad)

- 1 6 pin SOT-23 pad

- 1 26 pin DIP pad with power and ground bus and interfaced with 2 holes each pad)

- Additional prototyping area if necessary with power and ground busses.
