Violet Glass Tumbling DNA Model

Welcome to seventh grade science!

Grade 7 science is an entire year devoted to life science, from a single cell to the largest creatures known to man.  It is loaded with learning new vocabulary (and spelling).  I suggest you relax and take a look at the world around you.  You will soon find out that no matter how much you know, there's always something new to learn!

Current Study Guide and Learning Objectives

To prepare for Chapter 4, please review the vocabulary from the chapter so you are familiar with it.  We will be practicing our skills using Punnett Squares to predict sex-linked traits.  There will not be a chapter test, but the unit will be evaluated with the students completing a research project about a sex-linked disorder.  This will be acomplished primarily within the school day.
