Materials:
3 ply sport weight yarn. Approximately
12- 15 ounces; depending on desired length. Crochet hook size ‘E’ or sixe to give gauge:
Gauge: 11 sc = 2 inches; 10 rows = 2 inches.
Sizes: size is determined by starting ch.
Beg
at Top edge: make a chain equal to bust measurement (or hip
measurement if that is the large of the two). Being careful not to twist ch, join with slip st to form ring. Ch 1, turn. Rnd 1: Sc in each ch around. Join
with slip st, ch 2, turn. Rnd 2: Skip first sc, two dc in next sc, *skip one sc,
two dc in next sc* Repeat between *’s around. Join with slip st, ch 1 turn. Rnd
3: Sc in each sc around. Join with slip st, ch 2 turn. Rnd 4: Skip first sc,
*two dc in next sc, skip one sc* repeat between *’s around. Join with slip st, ch 1 turn. Rnd 3 & 4 are pattern.
Work in two row pattern until desired length of garment. End off.
Tie: make a chain approximately
18” longer than bust. Slip st in each ch back to beg. End off. Thread tie under and over the dc of first V stitch round.
Adjust to fit.
Sew in all loose ends.
