Material:  Approximately 12 ounces of 4 ply knitting weight yarn.  Crochet hook size G, or size to give correct gauge.

Gauge:  8 stitches = 2 inches; 12 rows = 3 inches.

Sizes:  Directions are for size small. Changes for Medium, Large and Extra-large are in parenthesis.

Pattern is worked almost entirely in single crochet (sc)

FRONT:  Beg with center Panel.  With Dark Color, ch 30(34-38-42).  Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hk and each ch across.  Ch 1, turn.  Row 2:  Sc in each sc to end.  Ch 1, turn.  Repeat Row 2 for pattern.  Work 2(4-2-4) more rows of Dark Color.  Switch to light color, work 6 rows.  Continue to change colors every six rows until 10(11-12-13) stripes have been completed. End off.

BACK:  Work Back center panel same as Front.

SIDE PANELS:  From right side of work, attach Dark Color yarn to lower edge of Front.  Row 1: Wk sc in each row end; ch 10(12-13-15) for shoulder; wk 1 sc in each row end of Back. Ch1, turn.  Row 2:  Wk 1 sc in each sc to beg or row.  Ch 1, turn.  Repeat row 2, changing color every 6 rows until 20(22-24) rows are complete.  End off.

Sleeve & Armhole Shaping: With same color as just worked, attach yarn in 43rd st from lower edge on Front; sc in same st, and each sc over shoulder to last 42 st from Back.  Join with slip st to first st of row. Ch 1, turn.  Keeping to 6 row color pattern, work in rounds for Sleeve, complete this color stripe.  Then work one more complete stripe.  End off. Work other sleeve to correspond. 

Finishing:  Sew side seams.  Sew in all ends.
