I work for a California Community College as an accounting specialist, laboring with budgets and grants. I do my friends' income taxes for fun. I got disgusted and recently resigned
as Treasurer of our local CSEA union chapter.
I'm usually a hermit.
I'm a reader - my shelves hold Science Fiction from A to Z. If the tale is about things that explode, all the better. Mixed in with those tomes are
several from the Fantasy and Horror genre too. My favorites are whomever I happen to be reading at the moment.
When
I'm not being a hermit . . .
I like to travel and meet my friends -- and I've found the best way to do this is to
attend SF conventions, especially a WorldCon or LosCon. I instigate, prod and plead to get as many of my friends to join me. As soon as they encounter a dealer's room, or experience
the fun of stairwells, I don't have to beg them much after that. A few Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters don't hurt either.
I
love my Truck. I listen to classic rock, Vivaldi, and Gretchen Wilson. Current favorite place to visit is Parker Arizona or
San Diego. I hope to retire by 2014 and retire to the pine trees of Arizona.
Oh yeah - I talk a lot too.
