Well we are still here in the hospital. Nathen still wont eat anything, which we think it is due to the sores in his mouth and throat from the chemo. On Saturday they started Nathen on TPN(IV nutrition) to increase his nutrition level. He also had a blood transfusion and plateletts transfusion on Saturday since his hemoglobin was low again. If all goes well with the nutrition IV and it gets adjusted right for his body we should be able to go home by Tuesday or Wedensday. He has been running fevers off and on the past couple of days but the doctors say it is probably due to the chemo being so rough on the body. All blood work done has not shown any infection to cause the fever so that is a good sign. The doctor also said that he may be having such a rough time because he was already weak and low on nutrition when we came into the hospital. Hopefully the nutrtion IV will give him enough strength to want to eat and play and get back to being his onry self. The doctor has also said that we may be going home with his IV in so he can have his nutritions and not have to come right back to the hospital due to levels being low again.
