I have an idea for Nathen this winter. A local friend of mine has a daughter in New Orleans that is the head pediatric oncology nurse at a children's hospital. Because of the chemo, all the kids lose their hair so we made hundreds of really cute hats and donated them to the hospital.

I thought I would make some really cute Curious George hats to keep his little head warm this winter.

Attention all potential blood donors! We have a rare opportunity to assist one of our extended Boeing family members, because OBI is crediting our donations to 23 month old Nathen Trueblood, who is fighting cancer. Nathen is the grandson of Boeing retiree Elmer Goetz (E-6 Program).

Monday, August 13th, is the date for the Summer Blood Drive. The scheduled times are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at 15 minute intervals. Please sign up for a time that is the most convenient for you, and I will attempt to accommodate your request.

Please reply to this e-mail by Tuesday, July 31st. For additional information about this Blood Drive, email or call Paul Schoelen at 733-1595. Also, remember that we have many appointments available for Red Blood Cell & Plasma (RBCP) apheresis donations.
