What do
we do?
Hoover Consultants is a multidisciplinary group of professionals who have provided services
in toxicology, quality assurance, FDA GLP/GCP audits, EPA GLP TSCA/FIFRA audits, product safety, material safety data sheets
(MSDS), product labeling, pesticide registrations and regulatory compliance for well over a decade. Our professionals have
special expertise and over 25 years of experience in quality assurance auditing for clincial and non-clinical laboratory studies,
analytical chemistry, epidemiology and environmental studies. Contracts involve major Federal regulations including FFDCA,
CLIA, TSCA, FIFRA and OSHA regulations and state and local right-to-know issues. International regulatory expertise is available.
Services also include regulatory compliance training for GLPs and GCPs.
Who
are we?
Hoover Consultants was started by B. Kristin Hoover in response to a specific request to perform
quality assurance consulting for the Valdez oil spill. Since
that time, many diverse projects have been successfully undertaken including FDA GLP and GCP audits, SOPs, CLIA compliance,
TSCA Test Rule Compliance, FIFRA Data Call-Ins, TSCA 8(e) CAP reporting, literature reviews, toxicology summaries, pesticide
registrations and various product stewardship activities. We are a leader with significant expertise in auditing epidemiology
studies. A number of projects have involved audits of epidemiology studies involving potential associations between air pollution
and health effects. We were selected to participate in the University of Ottawa Reanalysis Team for the Harvard
Six Cities and American Cancer
Society studies which were used for EPA risk assessement of fine particulate air pollution.
Our organization can provide
a wide range of specialties including a medical doctor, toxicologist, veterinarian, chemist, epidemiologist, environmental
scientist or quality assurance auditor.
Who hires us?
Our
professionals have high level industry and trade association experience so we understand senior management, operating divisions,
corporate reporting, product liability, deadlines and cost-effectiveness. We provide services to Fortune 500 pharmaceutical
and petrochemical companies, industry trade associations and other groups. We have served as a company representative to trade
associations and as consultants directly to these associations. Services have also involved major academic institutions. Our
client list is extensive and impressive, but confidential.
