SPECIAL FEATURES OF YACHT
The Catalac is an extremely comfortable, safe, seagoing sailing yacht. It has shallow
draft, skag hung rudder and is able to be beached. It has an inside and outside helm station. The salon has a Force 10 Cozy
Cabin propane heater. The yacht is roomy and has 2 cabins with full-size beds and a bunk room with 2 single beds. The galley
is very user friendly and there is a stand up shower and small clothes washing machine in the port head. It has a large chart
table and a large inventory of charts and nautical library. Also comes with dishes, silverware, bedding and towels. It’s
very clean and ready to live aboard.
SAILING HISTORY
This catamaran was launched in Christchurch, England
and sailed to the US. Owner lived aboard and sailed in the US, Caribbean and South America. Current owner (second) also lives
aboard, sailed from Texas around Gulf to Key West, up the East Coast to the Chesapeake Bay, then to Ireland and back. Boat
is fully equipped and ready to go anywhere in the world. We are selling because after many years of sailing adventures we
are ready to return to our home in South Dakota.
REFIT HISTORY
Owner is experienced mechanic and has maintained
it in peak condition. First and only other owner was a machine shop owner, meticulous in maintenance also.
