From DV to DVD – The intuitive interface gives you logical steps to capturing, editing, authoring, and outputting DVDs. Innovative Storyboard Layout – Clearly visualize, arrange and assign links between assets in your production. Trim and Edit – For less complex projects, or when importing finished productions, quickly trim video and insert chapter points manually during either scrubbing or preview. Advanced Slideshows – Import digital images and photos to create dynamic slideshows. Add titles, audio, and select from over 100 video transitions. Slideshow duration can be automatically adjusted to the length of the audio. Playlists – Assign multiple sequences of movies, menus, and chapter points to buttons without duplicating assets. Region Coding – Protect your DVD title by controlling which geographical regions can view your DVD title. Dolby® Digital AC-3 Support – Import 2.0 and 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio files. Convert LPCM or MPEG audio to 2.0 Dolby Digital AC-3 to reduce file size without degrading quality. Widescreen Support – Import, preview and output 16:9 widescreen format files. Surround Sound Emulation – If the original audio track uses more than 2 channels (e.g. Dolby® Digital 5.1) but was converted to a 2-channel audio track (e.g. Dolby® Digital Stereo), this option will simulate surround sound when playing on a set-top DVD player. Full Video Format Support – Capture and encode the popular DV/AVI, MPEG or analog formats, as well as WMV, QuickTime and MICROMV. Import Video from Disc – Copy and edit video from both DVD-VR (DVD-RAM or DVD-RW) and non-copyprotected DVD discs.
