Please send photos that are sharp and close to your pet’s face.  Photos taken outside in natural light are usually better than those taken with flash.  Your pet’s coloring and shadows can be lost as well as getting “red eye” with flash.  Try getting down at your pet’s level for snapping pictures, and if he is a small dog, perhaps a friend can help you hold him on a table or higher surface. 

 

The closer you can get, of course, the more detail can be captured.  Two or three photos are desired, in order to get an idea of the personality of the pet.  I also like to know their names, so I can identify with them.   If you’re using a digital camera, please feel free to email the files to me at jcarlislepetpix@verizon.net  in jpeg form followed by your cashier's check or money order for half the amount. 

 

When mailing photos, please include your cashier’s check or money order for half the cost of the portrait, along with your name and address where it should be sent.  Please allow three to four weeks for delivery.  You will be sent an electronic copy for approval, or a print-out of the scanned portrait, should you not have e-mail.  The remainder is due upon completion of the portrait.

 

These portraits are done on colored papers that enhance the color of the animal.  They will be sent to you with a single mat and backing board, ready to frame.
