Yesterday we did our school concert at Poughkeepsie Day School. What a great time we had! The kids were responsive
and prepared, and we had our best children's show to date. "Yellow Submarine' was a HUGE hit! Jasper Gluck came
along as our mascot and was an absolute doll. Not a peep except for the occasional squeal of joy as he sang along.
At our post-concert lunch and debriefing, David came up with some great ideas on how to make the show flow even better - by
putting a Beatles "Pepperland" voice over the "My Ship" intro, and maybe integrating other Beatles elements throughout to
give it some continuity. David will need to transpose the two Beatles songs down for Kelly before the next performance
- they are just too high, and a microphone would be great, especially for the last number.

Just got back from taping our performance on "Poughkeepsie Live," a local show on TW Cable devoted to the live music
scene in the Hudson Valley. Performers come from all over to appear on the show - it was a great experience, and we'd
like to thank everyone in the studio - Raj, Christine, Todd, Raquel, Marta, Michael Dell (the host) and the rest of the crew. It
was well done, and you made us look great! The best thing is we get a wonderful DVD of our performances - no less than
4 cameras and fantastic sound. It was broadcast live tonight at 7:00, then again at 8:00. It repeats tomorrow
(Friday) and then again on Monday. It was a great opportunity to publicize our upcoming performance at the Howland
Center, and just to get the word out about who we are.
It was great for the group too - a shared experience that will only enhance all of our performances going forward.
It's all good.
