South Lido beach is a white sand beach situated at the south end of barrier island of Longboat Key. There is free parking, picnic tables, playgrounds, showers and rest rooms. It is very popular with families for bathing, picnics and bbq's and also has plenty of shade trees. There are also nature trails and an abundance of birds and wildlife.

Coquina Beach, Anna Maria Island

Coquina Beach is located at the south end of Anna Maria Island and is one of the largest and most popular beaches in the area. It has plenty of ammenities including plentiful free parking, lifeguards, picnic tables, refreshments, playgrounds, restrooms and showers. This is a popular area for fishing around the piers and boat ramps and kayaks can be hired for those who want to take to the water.
