Burgess Baptist Church is a fundamental Bible believing and Bible teaching church. We
believe the Bible is the Spirit Inspired and Spirit given Word of God. It is to be learned, studied, and put into practice
in our lives as we seek to serve and honor the Lord Jesus Christ, and strive to make Him known to all.
As a member of Chowan Baptist Association, we believe in partnering with like minded born again Christian
believers to build and share the Kingdom of Christ in our community, and around the world through preaching the Gospel of
Jesus Christ, giving to and going, in mission efforts to show the love of God in Christ that offers hope and salvation to
all who will confess their sin and surrender their will and life to Jesus Christ.
We try to demonstrate God's love by loving others with His love in practical ways, as well as
prayer and fellowship.
Burgess Baptist Church serves the Burgess community in Perquimans County, open to any and
all who wish to worship the Lord. You are invited to come and worship Jesus with us.

Sunday School commences at 10 am.
Morning Worship at 11 am.
Choir Practice 6 pm.
Evening Worship 7 pm.
Communion 4th Sunday at 11 am service.

Morning Bible Study at Sallie Lane's house 9 am.
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study 7 pm.
Business Meeting 1st Wednesday 7 pm.
