We thought that we were going to have a real exciting week. Kenny lined up a tour of Pa. threw the Pa. Farm Bureau,for last Tuesday. He invited Derrick Eck ( a reporter with the Corning Leader) and his photographer Jason Cox to go with us. We had a good conversation with the two of them over the 150 miles that we traveled with them. Kenny got them on a working well down below Troy. We were at the well site close to 2 hours. Chris ( the main Tallisman man) was very cordial to all of us. He took the time to suit up Derrick and Jason and take them on the rig. They then went in and visited with the geoligist that is on site. Derrick had said on the way there that he was concerned about spills. All Tallisman's sites put down a rubber barrier ( this one cost $67,000) then a platform over this barrier. When they are done, they clean their rubber barrier up then dispose of it. I hope Derrick was impressed as much as I was. Everything that we saw in Pa. on Tuesday was pretty much possitive. It will be exciting when they get the green light to drill in NY. We have another PAC meeting tomorrow night. I will let you know what good ideas they come up with this week. The EPA meeting hasn't been rescheduled yet. When it is, I will let you know.
