Duties of Officers
1. President: The President shall preside at all meetings and shall be a member ex-officio of all committees except the Nominating
Committee. He shall appoint all standing committees and special committees, call executive board meetings when needed, and
assume such responsibilities as are generally considered to be functions of a president.
2. Vice-President: The Vice-President shall, in the absence of a President, perform all duties of the President. He
shall be chairman of the Program Committee.
3. Secretary: The Secretary shall record action of the organization through the minutes, keep the membership files,
secure lists of retiring teachers, and conduct correspondence as directed by the President.
4. Treasurer: The Treasurer is the custodian of the funds. He shall keep an accurate account of all monies received
and spent. Bills should not be paid without the approval of the President. An annual report shall be presented to the membership
at the fall meeting.
