What is the origin of true marriage, meaning the legal union between a man and a woman as husband and wife? In Genesis of the Bible, we learn that God created
male and female: Adam and Eve. This set the pattern for God's purpose in the formal permanent sexual union, the uniting of
husband and wife. Anything that would take the place of this relationship is contrary to the order of God and is a counterfeit.
C. S. Lewis author of the book The Chronicles of Narnia (including The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe),
correctly understood the homosexual position:
". . . I take it for certain that the physical satisfaction of homosexual desires is sin. This leaves the homo.
no worse off than any normal person who is, for whatever reason, prevented from marrying."
It is folly for any politicians or judges to attempt redefining the word "marriage" to satisfy the physical desires of
those who label themselves as "homosexual." Traditional marriage should be strengthened; trying to redefine the word "marriage"
is worse than unnecessary: It is destructive to the morals of society.

What's the point?
In the traditional marriage is found God's way of continuing human life. The husband and wife, as father and mother,
can raise children to be responsible members of society; this they can do better than any government institution or program.
When parents raise their children with correct principles, family happiness is expanded to greater happiness in community
and society.
