Our members share in bringing refreshments, some one different every month
is responsible and it is usually done in alphabetical order but on occasion months have to be switched.
Every month we have raffle bottles, about 3 or 4 per meeting with
the exception of the picnic and the December party which are double in amount and sometimes more. There are also
door prizes that are drawn for, at most meetings.
Currently our dues (which includes a newsletter) are $12 per year by email--only
if you have Microsoft Word. If you prefer to get the newsletter by the Postal Service, the dues are $15 per year.
A family consists of people living at the same address. Newsletters are mailed at the post office, club rosters are
sent by email to members, requests are granted for hard copies.
We start planning for our show by August at the very latest, getting graphics
ready to create flyers and post card notices to send to dealers, we also need volunteers to help contact the various media
outlets, so we can let people know about our club and all of it's activities.
At our December party we have a gift exchange, and the price limit is around
$10. The gift can be an antique bottle, or anything that might strike your fancy when you are shopping. We ask
that each gift is labeled for either male/female or either.
After our show in January, we usually hold a flea market outdoors in
the parking lot of the church that we meet at. The month varies depending on members and what they also have planned.
Our annual auction is in May, June is usually our annual picnic but sometimes
it may be late in May, or not until July--and on rare occasions there will be no picnic.
