Participant
Comments
• I learned that it’s OK for kids to express their needs and
how I will deal with their requests and demands.
• I enjoyed the method of analyzing why people want what they want.
• This approach really helps save a child’s dignity in arriving
at a solution, as well as meeting some of their underlying needs.
• This made me stop and think about children’s baggage from
outside the school, and how we need to understand why they are so angry,
frustrated etc.
• I now see how to give my child choices rather than telling her
what to do.
