An interactive workshop emphasizing a practical approach to improving relationships at home. Learn how to replace coercive language with non-coercive language. Learn about your genetic needs and feel more comfortable by understanding that you share the same needs as your children.

• Stress and Homework
An interactive workshop emphasizing self-evaluation, doing useful work, choices, consequences, and taking responsibility. Learn how you can enjoy your time together with your child and become your child's consultant instead of the producer of homework.

• How to Give Children Choices Without Going Crazy

• What You Need to Know about Bullies
• How Children Can be Encouraged to Do Quality Work
• Parenting 101
(for parents with children 5-12)

Participant Comments
• I learned that it’s OK for kids to express their needs and how I will deal with their requests and demands.
• I enjoyed the method of analyzing why people want what they want.
• This approach really helps save a child’s dignity in arriving at a solution, as well as meeting some of their underlying needs.
• This made me stop and think about children’s baggage from outside the school, and how we need to understand why they are so angry, frustrated etc.
• I now see how to give my child choices rather than telling her what to do.
