MUSICAL DIRECTOR
In addition to performing as an actor, I often double as a musical director,
musician and composer. I have done this for several Shakespearean plays, in
musicals and for more contemporary plays that use a Country, Bluegrass or Celtic
string band as part of the performance. The slide show below is from a Dartmouth
College production of The Grapes of Wrath where I worked as an Equity
guest artist, musical director, composer and on stage musician. The music and
songs that accompany the slides I either composed or arranged from traditional
folk songs.
