The Cornucopia Fruit Smoothie
a meal in a glass
1 frozen banana, chopped up

1 heaping ladle full of fruit (strawberries, peaches, nectarines or any combination thereof) or, if you're all out of fresh fruit 2 oz. of orange concentrate

1 rounded tablespoon of honey (optional)

Enough organic cow's milk, fortified rice or soy milk to make a 15 oz. drink

Put bananas, fruit and honey in blender and add enough milk to make 15 ounces.

Blend until smooth.

When bananas are available at a good price, buy in abundance, peel a bunch, cut them up and store them in a plastic bag in the freezer. The frozen bananas will make your smoothie cool, nutritious and delicious.
