Oatmeal Walnut Raisin Cookies
 
1 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup rolled oats

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup organic walnuts

½ cup organic canola oil

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon non-aluminum baking powder

½ teaspoon sea salt

½ cup raisins

 

Preheat oven to 350.

Lightly oil baking sheets.

Blend maple syrup, oil and vanilla in blender until smooth.

In large bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until well combined.

Add maple syrup mixture and combine.

Fold in oats, walnuts and raisins.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheets.

Bake until set (14-15 minutes).
