As you can see by this Tax Foundation report (http://www.taxfoundation.org/)
Putnam County's property taxes rank 11th in the entire nation. Only Nassau and Westchester Counties in New York rank higher.
How can we continue to afford living here if our elected officials keep taxing us to death? We can't. We must elect people who will actually fight for us. We can't continue to count on the Republican chairman and a committee that only wishes to hold on to power.
