Structure
We give a 30-45 minute seminar including a video with functional examples of colonial period items.
Students can handle the long arms if we have enough people, usually a student/teacher ratio of 5-7:1 or 3-5 adults for a class of about 25.
Safety
- Everything is safe to handle.
- We do not bring or display any live ammunition, powder, explosives, knives or sharp objects.
- We do not offer live fire demonstrations at this time. This is displayed in our video.
Planning & preparation
- If you wish to have our exhibit, please notify us at least 30 days in advance.
- Part of the exhibit contains (antique) firearms, to avoid school policy infrigements we require prior approval from the school principal, and superintendent.
- We require access to least one 110 volt outlet. We will supply a DVD player, projector and screen. For safety, we request the school teacher remain with the students during the presentation, which is about 30-45 minutes.
- We request (but do not require) a per diem fee of $175.
