Welcome!  I am Bob Kuhns.  I love the outdoors, nature, my family, my country and everything that I consider to be the gifts from God.  If that turns you off, go away.  This Web Site provides an outlet for my creativity.  It will grow over time to include my WRITINGS, SKETCHINGS, PHOTOGRAPHY, and any other creative outlets I may try.  It will also contain works by my family members and friends with their permission.   Everything will be family oriented, so feel free to visit with your kids around.

I am a long time National Park Service (NPS) fan.  I like to hike, photograph, learn about, and tell about nature, history and culture.  Something the National Parks do well.  For instance, I have visited 98 NPS units.  That includes tiny parks like Clara Barton National Historic Site, and giant parks like Yellowstone National Park.  There are 392 NPS units and they are all worth a visit.  Some are worth many visits, like Shenandoah National Park (SNP), which happens to be close enough to visit frequently.  My first visit to SNP was approximately fifty years ago.  I have spent a lot of time in SNP for fun, as a volunteer, and as a National Park Ranger.
