Be sure to read "The Hamburger" first

02/24/2009
It could have been a scene right out of a James Bond movie.  The Hamburger sat at the curb all weekend with a "FREE" sign on it.  No one stopped to even look at it.  Meanwhile, the neighbor's house had a bunch of stuff down by the curb, they are cleaning out the house that is under contract.  Many neighbors stopped there and carted off things they wanted to repurpose.

Today was trash / recycling day on our street.  The trash truck stopped and took our trash.  They took most of what was at our neighbor's curb.  The placed The Hamburger in the back of the trash truck and the giant steel jaw slowly closed on The Hamburger, crushing it and buckling it in the middle.  Then The Hamburger was swallowed up into the innards of the trash truck.

I guess I won't be cleaning it up and trying to put it back in service.
