My fellow employees were either directed in writing, verbally, or by example to
quit talking with me or to stop associating with me. At that time, and to the present, none of my former friends
and coworkers will have anything to do with me. Why, because they are afraid they will be fired in retaliation like I
was. I miss some of these former friends, and the danger is that they are now afraid to come forward with any information
of wrong doing or dangerous situations related to Nuclear Power Plants and NRC employees' actions because of the chill effect.
They saw what happened to me and do not wish the same fate to happen to them.
These people have families like I do and need to keep quiet and feed, clothe, educate and house their children like I used
to do. They are fearful of retaliation at the hands of their senior management at The Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
You know, they shouldn't have to be fearful for doing what is right.
I am the 2000 NRC Poster Boy.
