Should the Nuclear Regulatory Commission be Renamed ?

How about

The Nuclear Retaliatory Commission?

Think about it...  If you were chairman and commissioner of such a government agency, what would you do? How would you spend your day?

Would you travel the world giving speeches?

Would you sit around your plush Washington office and polish your gold cuff links?

Would you let a persons appeal for justice that your organization has clearly wronged gather dust on the corner of your desk as you wait to "starve him out"?

Would you use the disguise of "under consideration" status on his appeal for justice to play "keep-a-way" from a congressman's letter of inquiry into your people's questionable conduct?

Or, would you roll up your French cuffs, and get to work and clean up this "left over wrong" from the mess that former Chairman and NRC Commissioner Richard Meserve left for you to deal with and clean up?

Richard Meserve had over a year to "do the right thing" and make things right with Ron Bath.  Fact: He never did. He just left his term in office and hung Ron Bath out to dry.

Nils J. Diaz has had over two years to "do the right thing" and make things right with Ron Bath.  Fact: He never did, either. He has refused to.

Talk about following in your bosses  footsteps.

Does it really take three years for the NRC to examine the evidence, exercise poor judgment and then demonstrate the very lack of ethics and presence of negligence that they sit in judgment of with others? Others being our nation's operators of nuclear power plants and nuclear medical facilities around our nation?

Yes it does!  It did in fact take three years to get a big fat NO from them! At least it did in the case of Ron Bath.

It's very curious that when a former employee of the NRC's wants justice it takes three years to receive a turndown.  On the other hand, when the NRC thinks that someone else, that they have power over, does the same thing they did, they punish them.  Do they see a crime, or just smell money?  Think about this situation.  If you need some help making up your mind just ask the Callaway Nuclear power plant operators.  My personal experience, opinion and belief is that they smelled the money.

Why do I believe this?  Go to:

So, would you sit around in D.C. and polish your gold cuff links, or roll up your french cuffs and clean up the mess your people have made of Ron Bath's life?

My suggestion is to roll up your french cuffs and clean up the mess your people have made of Ron Bath's life.

If you chose polishing cufflinks over justice, I have one more suggestion.

Why not change the name of your organization to:

The Nuclear Retaliatory Commission

Take it from Ron Bath's personal experience.  It would seem to be much more accurate and fitting.

A special Hello to Chairman Diaz and his Friends at the NRC

Happy Valentines Day

Please reconsider your poor decision in my case and settle with me. I would appreciate an opology, as well.

Remember, it is never too late to do the right thing.

Until I hear from you, I will be looking for some gold cuff link polish to send to you. You may want them nice and shiny in court some day.

Sincerely,

Ron

Happy Valentines Day
