The NRC Took the Life of Ron Bath
and
     He Wants it Back

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission took the life of Ron Bath.  It didn't happen by nuclear accident. Radiation wasn't even involved.  It was through the deliberate, willful actions of dishonest and spiteful government employees of the NRC.

Ron Bath has asked NRC Chairman, Commissioner Nils J. Diaz for compensation for his losses at the hands of his organization.  The NRC let their crooks fire Ron Bath in retaliation for turning them in to law enforcement officials for felony criminal misconduct.  Ron's Tort Claim was held in limbo for 3 years while allegedly gathering dust on the corner of the Commissioners desks, spanning two regimes, that of Chairman Meserve and Diaz.  This "carrot" was held over Ron's head in an attempt to assure his silence for 3 years until the trail of wrong doing and deceit ran cold and Chairman Diaz then recently denied the claim.. Decision, no!  There would be no compensation for taking Ron's life from him.

Does it really take three years for the NRC to examine the evidence, exercise poor judgment and then demonstrate the very lack of ethics and presence of negligence that they sit in judgment of with others? Others being our nation's operators of nuclear power plants and nuclear medical facilities around our nation?

Due to the direct actions of NRC employees, while conducting criminal activities within the region 4 offices of the NRC in Arlington, Texas, Ron Bath was fired in retaliation and subsequently lost his home, new truck, life savings, credit, and the ability to pay for his children's college education.  The resultant stress, pressure and belief that his government had failed him, placed Ron in a downward physical spiral that resulted in his being diagnosed with Diabetes and treated for Clinical Depression.

Ron was unable to obtain another job for over a year and then, had to accept an $11,000.00 annual decrease in salary.  After obtaining a new job, after all that time, he was fired from his new job in the first 30 days due to the alleged personal ties his new employer had to the NRC Region 4's Director of the Division of Resource Management and Administration. This allegedly corrupt NRC official is now retired and living in luxury in an expensive home on a golf course with her retired former NRC official husband.

Ron believes that Chairman Nils J. Diaz should reconsider his case and compensate him for his losses.

It is never too late to admit wrong and to correct it.

"Everything I have worked for my entire life to provide a life of quality and security for my wife and children is now gone; taken from me by criminals and unethical officials of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission".  "I will spend the rest of my life working to right this great wrong".  "In America the good guys are supposed to win, aren't they"?

Question For the Day

How can we all feel safe in our homes with the safety and security of our nation's nuclear power plants in the hands of people with such bad judgment?

Think about it.  Ron Bath was fired for doing the right thing by folks that were doing the wrong thing.  Now they run the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Update

Ron's wife of 36 years, Ellen, has been out of work since January, 04. Her employer was a well known and respected German Company that fell victim to President Bush making good on his threat to retaliate against countries voting against his war on Iraq.  Her company's contract was allegedly pulled and awarded to an American company.  A 14 year career and Ron's family support base has suffered another direct hit from our government's decisions.

Ron Bath is still waiting for the day that he will receive justice at the hands of the NRC.

Apology, Compensation, Justice.
