All Americans Must Make A Decision

Do we go along with the wrong doing of others within our government?  Ron Bath says no.  That is, he said no and refused to go along the wrong doing of NRC employees of region 4 in Arlington Texas.

Ron Bath Not Doing What He Was Told

You've seen it on television and heard it on the radio...
terrible pictures of wrong doing and people claiming that they were just doing what they were told.  There is a difference though, these people are Americans. Ron Bath's father was a decorated disabled American veteran of World War II. Ron and his father also remember hearing and reading the phrase, "I was just doing what I was told to do". The difference you ask?  These were Germans and Japanese using this excuse, not Americans.  The time? Post World War II.

The present...  Now we have to view and listen to the same lame excuses to justify wrong doing by officials of our government.  We also have to witness those in charge, those who should have known better making even more lame excuses for letting terrible things happen "on their watch" by people they have control over and are responsible for.

Ron Bath is very sensitive to this topic.  Look at the images above. The lady on the left has publicly claimed she was just doing what she was told to do.  The fact is she went along with illegal and immoral acts. What is wrong with people like this?  The man on the right is Ron Bath.  The picture doesn't show any wrong doing because there was no wrong doing.  The picture shows Ron Bath losing his home because he took a stand and refused to just do what he was told.  He recognized illegal and immoral acts by his supervisor and senior management on his job at the NRC region 4 offices in Arlington, Texas and made the moral judgment and decision to not participate in these acts.  Ron reported the information to authorities resulting in the arrest and charging of these criminals with federal felony misconduct.  Agents of the Inspector Generals Office and the Secret Service conducted a raid on the region 4 offices of the NRC and arrested and removed the bad guys.

Unfortunately, this justice came too late for Ron Bath.  These same bad guys at the NRC fired Ron Bath a few months before they got caught.  Why?  They were tipped off about Ron Bath's allegations about them by the top man at the NRC Region 4 office in Arlington, Texas Regional Administrator Ellis Merschoff.  Merschoff admitted to investigators that he turned over allegation information to the very persons mentioned in the allegations.  One of the persons was Dean Pappa who was Ron Bath's immediate supervisor at the NRC.

Ron made allegations against bad guys, Merschoff gave allegation information to bad guys, Ron Bath works for bad guys, Ron Bath is fired by bad guys.

Some people cannot be trusted to keep a confidence or do the right thing.  Oh yes, Ellis Merschoff received an award for being "A man of Vision" thousands of dollars in award money and a promotion to a big wheel position in Washington D.C. as CIO. Chief Information Officer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  Remember Ron's article "February 18, 2004 The NRC - Just the Tip of the Iceberg"? Ellis Merschoff is Mr. Iceburg

In my article I wrote....

"Do you want to know what else really hurts after these three long years?  Our iceberg man, promoted to an even bigger office in Washington, DC, still probably has that same damn iceberg picture, of his, on his office wall.

If you work at the iceberg man's office, which is probably close to that of his boss, NRC Chairman Nils J. Diaz, go to his office and look for the picture of the iceberg on his wall.  If it's still there, take it down and hand it to him, and tell him for Ron Bath that he missed the point".

The picture on the above right...  shows Ron Bath losing his home after being fired because of the negligent, mean spirited and illegal actions of NRC senior management in an act of retaliation.

Look hard and long at the two pictures above.  As an American you enjoy the freedom to just do what you are told, or not to.  The choice is yours and yours alone.

Ellis Merschoff and his boss in Washington, Nils J. Diaz Chairman of the NRC have made their decisions.  Merschoff decided to pass allegation information along to Dean Pappa, who subsequently fired Ron Bath in retaliation. Ron was out of work for over a year and lost his home, life savings, truck, credit and the ability to pay for his children's college education. (See picture of Ron putting his home up for sale). Commissioner Diaz made the cruel and devistating decision to blow Ron off and turn down his rightful request for compensation.

Ron and his attorney Billie Pirner Garde filed a Claims Tort with Chairman Meserve and his successor Nils J. Diaz to recover lost funds which they took three years to turn down and say no to.

Look at the pictures.  Which side would you choose to be on?

Do you see what doing the right thing got Ron Bath?

A Special Message to Commissioners Nils. J. Diaz, Edward McGaffigan Jr. and Commissioner Merriweather

Coming soon will be a special edition with each of your photographs for the public to see.  My question to you; What will the caption read under your photograph, I was only doing what I was told, or, I did the right thing?

One Week Hiatus and Trip

My web site will resume daily updates on May 17, 2004.  I am taking a week to tour and tell my story to others and garner support for my cause.  I will never stop trying to get the NRC's Commissioner Nils J. Diaz, or his successor to honor my Tort Claim and receive a formal apology.

Ron Bath did the right thing, and will never give up trying to motivate the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and its officials to do likewise.

Have a picture perfect day.  See you next week.

Message to NRC Chairman Nils J. Diaz

Chairman Diaz,

Call my attorney today!

I need closure to what your employees have done to me.

I will accept nothing less than a full apology and settlement to reconcile the wrong that The US Nuclear Commission and its employees have perpetrated on me.  The damage to my reputation, loss of credit, loss of funds and assets must be compensated.  Their willful acts of premeditated wrong doing and subsequent cover up are aggravated by the fact that they were performed during the commission of a felony federal crime by multiple NRC employees while "on the clock" in the NRC offices of Region 4 in Arlington, Texas. Their negligence, retaliation, illegal firing and aftermath will never go unchallenged by me.

You may end it by contacting my attorney.  You know who she is.

Ron
