My wife Ellen and I sat there viewing the movie Meltdown and I grew sick at my stomach as I realized that the writers and movie makers must have had real contact and knowledge of how the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the NRC, really operates; Lies, Lies, and more Lies to the American public.

Appearances are that the NRC believes that lying to the American Public is the proper thing to do because they view us all as too stupid to accept and respond to the truth.  To avoid a "panic" they just won't inform us of an impending disaster and instead, advise us that all is well, safety precautions are in place and no harm will come to us if we are just content to stay in our homes.

You may forget appearances.  From personal experience I have learned that the NRC lies to federal investigators, government officials, congressional inquiries and contractors and employees alike when it serves their purpose and "gets them off the hook".

I mentioned being sickened as the movie unfolded.  Event by event, point by point, I told my wife, Ellen, befor each scene unfolded how the NRC would respond to events in the movie and what they would say at variance to the truth of the situation.  Unfortunately I was right and the NRC officials lied, lied and lied again.

There were several key security elements portrayed accurately in the movie which I had made allegations about to NRC officials and the IG's office (Inspector General).  During the investigation of my case, the NRC officials lied to the IG's investigators and subsequently lied to Congressman Markey (D-MA) about these same key security elements of concern accurately portrayed  in the movie.

I hope the producers of this fine movie contact me.  There should be a sequel about them holding the NRC accountable for its lies and treachery.

The public needs to know.

Congress needs to hold the NRC accountable and stop lying and ruining the lives of the few honest employees that become whistleblowers to stop the dishonesty and criminal misconduct inside the NRC.

In the case of Ron Bath VS the NRC,  Ron only told the truth and the NRC Officials such as Ellis Merschoff, former Regional Administrator and Chairman of NRC Commissioners Nils. J. Diaz, in my opinion and belief, only told lies.

Some day it is Ron's hope to get this cast of NRC characters before congress and under oath and see if any truth leaks out of their mouths. Pending charges of perjury and obstruction of justice can do wonders for a person's testimony.
