the Riverside Memorial
United Church of Christ, welcome all into the full life of this
community of faith--it
does not matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey. We
believe that you and every person have special gifts, which we are all
called to use in the service of Jesus Christ. Joined in this service,
we are one body and no longer separate individuals. We exist to support
each other along our journeys of faith – growing and learning together.
We also exist to promote spiritual, mental, and physical healing of
individuals and of the world. We are all God’s disciples, sharing God's
love and grace with all who walk with us.
Riverside
has a long history of welcome to all and service to this neighborhood
and city. For more years than
anyone can remember, we have been known by the statement that "To all
who search for God, this church opens wide its doors." We are
seekers who believe that we are called to support one another on our
journey of faith as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the
world.
Bring your deepest longings to
his community as together we worship with spirit, share laughter and
tears, engage with the Bible, grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ,
and seek to build the commonwealth of God here on earth.
