If you made it here, you probably either know me or saw my profile on a site dedicated to either astronomy equipment or musical instruments. If you're interested in building a medium size telescope for the first time, you may find some interesting pictures and I'd be happy to answer any questions and offer my opinions. I've owned a lot of astronomy equipment over the years so plan to eventually post my thoughts on items I've owned. As for musical instruments (mainly guitar and bass), I probably won't put much on this site other than maybe some pictures of instruments I own.

My brother-in-law and I each spent about a year of our time slowly building our own 17.5 inch truss tube Dobsonian telescopes. Since then, these have become our primary scopes for our monthly trips to the local desert, Anza Borrego, Ca. (Click picture for more details and pictures). |
