This is the "Native American" garden with the three sisters: corn squash and pole beans planted together.

 

My outsoor winter sowing did not work out as well as I would have liked.  I planted a lot of ornamental grass, and didn't get much.

 

 

Winter Post:  Inside I have several vines--including the grand Cup 'n' Saucer Vine started inside.  I wish I could do more vegetables right now, but the tomato seeds have sprouted, and I have had hundreds of onions, some leeks & shallots growing for weeks now.  After a NON-winter, we now have 6-8 inches of snow on the ground as of March 3.
