In December, 2003, Karen Friedrich had her Senior art show at Concordia University.   The theme of her show deals with beauty and hope for people with disabilities.  Her subjects included people she knows - her brother, several adults who come to summer camp where Karen has worked, and others.  Her work was done all in watercolor.  If you click on any picture, you will see an enlargement.
